Investing Character With Lucy Ladybug
When I was raising my five children, I searched for books that invested character. One of the books the children and I enjoyed the most was, Big Thoughts for Little People by Kenneth Taylor. I loved this interactive book, not only for the simple Biblical teachings, but also for the artwork related to the alphabet and the little hidden ladybugs. I named one of the ladybugs, Lucy. And of course we had to find her! ha ha
Then I started telling stories in the car involving Lucy in all kinds of challenging situations. Yes, it was mostly to maintain my sanity, but I was also investing character. So, I have an idea to do this on the Blog as a Character Series and share it on Facebook. Little stories you can share with your children on Tuesdays. My desire is to go through the entire alphabet. Investing Acceptance is the first one to roll out on October 17th! Hope you enjoy them!
